Michael Putney recently conducted an interview with
Jack Portman, Vice Chairman of Portman Holdings, during a special on This Week in South Florida. They talked
about the future plans for the Miami Beach Convention Center. At first, the
process of proposals was discussed and then Jack broke down how funding will be
divided up among privately and publicly owned facilities. Finally, he expressed
his overall view of what the Miami Beach Convention Center could provide.
